I just purchased my first system - got the Polk RM6700 system with the PSW202 subwoofer. The receiver is an h/k AVR525. The Polk owner manuals say specifically to not use the "Sub out" line from the receiver to the sub, rather to wire both the right and left front speaker connections through the sub and on to the speakers. The h/k owners manual says the opposite (wire each speaker directly from the receiver, and use only the "Sub out" line to the subwoofer)
