I am using composite RCA cables from DVD to HT receiver and Satellite receiver to HT receiver. From HT receiver to TV, I am using SVideo cable. Using this connection I am not able get video. If I replace S Video cable with composite cable (RCA) (HT receiver - TV), the picture is fine.
My receiver is Onkyo SR 701. Does anybody have any idea why is this happening?
According to Onkyo there is no setting you need to change to make the upconversion happen, so it may be faulty. But also make sure you are changing to the correct input on the TV when using the S-vid. Good luck....
