I dont really have n e audio experience so if this question sounds dumb im sry. I just bought a Rockford 451s 2 channel amp. It can be bridged for 450X1 at 4 ohms. I wanted to run only one HX2 or a HE2. I saw though that they r both dvc. Is there a way i could get the 450 watts at 4 ohms and still provide power to both voice coils? Or would i have to use 2 channels. If i do use two channels then it becomes 115 watts X 2 at 4 ohms. I need help lol please. If you have any diagrams that would be great also. |

This would allow you to wire teh coils together in series or parallel respectively, for a 4 Ohm load. Otherwise you need to find a 4 Ohm SVC sub. Are you set on RF subs? There are much better subs out there if not, and available in a configuration that would work for you. Look at www.edesignaudio.com for some examples. ciao |
