Do Acoustic Energy Speakers match Yamaha Receivers?

Hi there, I'm considering the Yamaha rx-v 1400 for a new receiver, does anybody know if AE speakers would be a good match or should I look at psb and paradigm?
Can you tell me what the AE 's sound like? Are they on the bright side or more laid back like the Paradigm's? Yamaha needs a mellow speaker like Paradigm to tame the brightness of the Yamaha sound. If you have heard any Paradigm models you know they are incredible speakers for the money. The imaging they present is really outstanding. My Atoms in my kitchen amaze me every time I hear them, especially when I crank them up. Are you considering other receivers or are you set on the Yamaha?
