Don't laught, I'm really not into car audio as much as you guys are. Currently I have just a pair of 35RMS pioneer speakers in the doors of my car being powered by an am pushing 45rms to each of them, I'm careful to keep the volume down as not to blow them, actually they get so high at 20% volume I never go any higher. My girlfriends dad bought be one of those 12" kenwood typhoon subwoofers in a ported box so I'd have some bass, but I don't really know what to push it with. I have a rockford 200s amp pushing it right now but have to turn the gain way up to get any good bass notes. This thing claims to be rated at 400RMS, but I honestly believe that will pop it. Can someone suggest the correct power to run this thing?
