I am considering buying a large screen LCD HDTV, but I have seen a number of posts about Motion Artifacts being a problem with Sporting Events but not with movies, why is that>
Thanks for your help

Motion Artifacts occur because of a slight delay in the response time of the LCD TV. This means it takes an extra second or two for the pixels to react with what is happening on the screen and it causes moving objects to become slightly blurry. If you play a lot of video games (where it is the most noticable) then I would recommend getting a DLP because I don't think they have that problem. Its hard to notice on movies but it still happens.
