I am currently running a pair of 6x9's in my rear shelf and
co-axial door speakers in the front.

I've browsed through the forum and noticed that the majority of u guys recomend using component speakers instead?

What is the max power handling and rms for the kappa perfect component speakers?

I have a 4 channel JBL PX300.4 600W max,
4 x 150w RMS amp. Would this be suitable for the Kappa perfect components up front, with 150w RMS 6x9's at the rear?

Any help would be much appreciated!

That is within tolerance, but leave any gain adjustments flat.

Thanks for the reply matt.

Ive just realised that the amp is rated: 150w x4 rms at 2 ohms but only 75w rms x 4 at 4 ohms, but the amp should still be capable of running them at 4 ohms shoudn't it?

Also... ive heard that its best 2 just run components in the front and ditch the 6x9's in the rear for better sound staging. Is this correct?

(I am running a sub in the back)

On the amp side, you're going to be fairly underpowered. I would recommend that you consider selling that one on eBay and getting one with appropriate power.

Regarding the staging, yes, ditching the rears will improve your sound. We really don't recommend them around here unless you're absolutely going to be carrying rear passengers.
