Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I'm not good with car audio, but I'd like to get my 90' CRX to sound good. I was looking at 3 10" MTX Roadthunders in a box (for $150 in like new condition). With my car (it's a hatchback) how many/how much sub power do you think I need? Could 3 10" subs be too much? Any suggestions would be appreciated...oh, and are there any good brands I should be aware of? The amp I'm looking to get is a Pioneer 760 Watt, or a Sony 760 Watt. Thanks for the help

Well... please post the model of the MTX subs your looking at. But as far as the Pioneer and Sony amps go, their not the best amps, in fact, they kinda suck.

Try to stay clear of the Sony and Pioneer Amps. Actually, the MTX amps are descent for someone just looking to get a descent system started. Granted, their no memphis amps(although memphis amps kinda suck for anything but subs) but MTX amps are quite descent. Kicker are about the same, and in a similar price range.
