Others that sound good are monsoon : http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006BADM They have metallic lively sound - their model 1000 sounds even better - and they have surround one too if you can track it down on the web. Your choice is good too - just a matter of taste, but I like the monsoon's planer speaker's lively sound, as well as your choice. There are other ways of connecting a speaker or a full blown Hifi system to your computer if you are really into computer music. Product like this one uses USB cables to do it, and the sound is good - better than most soundcards. This is what I do: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00009YWKA It has a good phone out for headphones! You will like the looks and the sound - has new digital amp which makes it sound smooth and clean. For less money, you can enjoy better sound. |
