New member Username: BeekPost Number: 10 Registered: Jun-04 | I spoke to both of u before regarding infinity kappa perfects, and u were both very helpful! Ive now fitted them and they sound very good until i turn the volume up high. Im getting a strange sudden high pitch sqheel. Is this what u call clipping? If not, what do u think it might be? How can i cure the problem? Im running a 4 channel jbl amp rated at 75w RMS x 4 @ 4ohms. Now i know this isnt really sufficient power for the 100rms kappa perfects, but could this be causing the problem? I recently read a thread with u 2 having a big debate about under powering the kappa perfects.... Any help would be great. Thanks ;) |

Ive heard you and jonathan mention the HiFonics Zeus ZX400 amp many times before. Do you highly recommend it for the Kappa Perfects? As im from England there is no-where i can purchase one from, so i think a world wide shipper on Ebay is my best bet |

There's one on eBay (UK) that'll ship worldwide right now for £89 (plus shipping): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18796&item=5714310876&r d=1&ssPageName=WDVW -Matt |
