Do I need an extarnal amp with a 300w head unit

I had a car with a 300w 10" sub and eventually got rid of it but I kept the subs. I have a 2009 Subaru Impreza and installed a boss bvcp9675a and it is 320watts do I need an extarnal amp to power it or can I use the headunits power
