Go to Service MODE 3 ================== Keep this state more 2 seconds while continuing pressing the [MENU or TP/PTY] button, [VOLUME -] button and TOUCH PANEL [DOWN] button sequentially. --- Car Audio without DVD, radio on(NOT STANDBY), press TOUCH PANEL [DOWN] and hold next [VOLUME -] and hold next [MENU or TP/PTY] and hold HOLD all 3 keys more 2 sec ! --- Exchanging it operate a menu of a service mode with the [UP] button and [DOWN] button. Unfortunately NOT work for avx820. But try all range 4000 - 4999 if no, may be 3000 - 3999 or 7000 - 7999 and so on. It is very simple, when I hack my first KD-DV4207 I checked almost all range: 0000-9999. :-) Only 2-3 days. Need More statistics FOR "Right" Algorithm for All JVC Car Audio. Now I hack only 3 models JVC. kd-dv4207 and 4408. One model without code kd-dv5307/5308. If I'll have all JVC Car Audio with DVD I'll hack all and post it for free use. :-) |

Remote with CD and "Using Advanced Function Codes:" But need PURE CD, NO DVD-CD key. ---cut 1. Select the device you want to assign an advanced code to. 2. Press and hold the [SETUP] button until the LED flashes twice. 3. Enter the code 9-9-4. 4. Press the [SETUP] button, followed by the 3-digit code number. 5. Press the button you would like to assign the code to. The LED should flash twice. ---cut About Model Code: Please match ... You DVD = 0149. May be X171 or no ... x=0,1, ... 9. |

After pressing 7 then 8 the display shows region 1, then, pressing 9 the display shows ----, insert the code and the unit go to stand by. Do you have other code suggetion? Note: in the URC-8820N first of all it is necessary to program the buttons from 0 to 9, A,B,C. Press CD, press SET until the led flashes two times, enter 994, press SET press 00149 for 0, then the led flash two times, then same procedure for 0 to 9, A,B,C |
