got a DVC 12" solo baric L7 it says u can hook it up 2 or 4 ohm what would hit the hardest? My Mtx thunders 8100 class d has two options for 2ohm one says 1000 watts rms the other dynamic power
It will be louder at 2 ohm and the 8100d support 2 ohm load, wire like this:
Be aware that the L7 is 750W only and the amp will deliver 1000W so at least make sure your gains are set correctly to avoid clipping the amp, don't use bass boost, if available set your subsonic filter a few hertz below the enclosure tuning (ported enclosures only).
