I replaced the battery on my wife's BMW and the code in the glovebox doesn't unlock the radio.... it is a 5-digit code (11464), and I was sure that several years ago, the code I put in was only 4 digits. The info on the radio is:
BP0263 18403844 FD291 Index 49 7 640 263 342/40/44/46
Thank you. I must have been misinformed... I was told the 4-digit code was for radios marketed to UK and the 5 was for the ones marketed to the USA.
Is the 5-digit code I had (11464) correct? If so, something must be broken since I've tried it and the radio just locks for an hour or so before I can try again.
