Hi All
I am not having a lot of luck with my radio code after it was disconnected. I have already paid twice from two different people who came back with the same code (4481) which does not work.
I am now stuck as the book says 5853.
Info as follows
Model No. 22DC278/62B
TOV559
RN278F10004407
FD0101170004407

Hope this is all the info you need.
I'm soo fed up of no radio in the car

Thnx

someone changed the eeprom dump where the code is located on your radio, you have to read the eprom to see the correct code.

Thanks Gabrinski. (and opelop)
It may sound a stupid question but is this something I can do or does it need to go to a dealer

if you have any skill with electronics will be possible yes, you will need to set up a reader in order to read the eepron eepron your radio if you have experience with electronics will not be difficult, but if you have not, I suggest that you bring to some friend that can help you.

Hi
Thanks again for the reply and help.
I think I'll just buy a new stereo.
Maybe cheaper in the long run

Hi Reg Rooster
Thanks for this but I have tried this code and it doesn't work. I have had this code from 4 different people now so I think at some point the radio has been repaired and they have managed to change the code. I spoke with Renault and they were worse than useless. I have been told it will cost £40 to have the code deleted and a new one added :-(
Any ideas??

Make sure you press the final button that stores the code (¬ or 6 or 5 ) for at least 10 seconds

If that doesn't work then a local Radio Decoding Service will normally charge £20/£25 to get it working.
