New member Username: Pantera1Post Number: 1 Registered: Nov-11 | Hi, I am new here, and was wondering if I could get some opinions. I have 2 12" wired to 1 ohm Alpine Type R's, what would be a decent amp to run these. My budget is questionable right now, so if I have some ideas I will go from there. Thanks |

These are somewhat overrated so it will deliver just enough to top those subs on clean power. |

Both will do superbly with 2 type R's. For power efficiency the Audioque AQ1200D although not everyone agrees that SQ is worthwhile on this amp. http://www.audioque.com/AQ1200D-Amplifier_p_30.html Runs cold and go very easy on your electrical system. |
