Saturday, July 16, 2011 - 20:01 GMT Reg Rooster..I just called the former car's owner and I couldn't believe that they actually still had it after several years. It is 1409. Now my problem is that I don't know how to enter it. They did not remember. Do you know what it means when it says "SAFE" on the radio? That is what my radio says. Thanks for the Help!

Sunday, July 17, 2011 - 09:02 GMT To reset from SAFE leave SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset. The code entry instructions will depend on the exact make and model of radio. Find yours here http://www.radio-code.co.uk/code-entry-help.php A large number of VW radios are made by Blaupunkt and typical instructions are Blaupunkt 7647236060 - VW Code Entry Turn on the radio, the display will show 'SAFE' Press [ TA ] and [ TP ] together until '1000' is displayed. Input the code using pre-set keys 1-6 and press [ TA ] and [ TP ] to accept.
