I have just purchased a 46" Magnavox model 46MF440B. Anytime that I watch any sports I get what is called the triple ball effect. That is when the ball is in flight, you see three images of the ball on the screen. A previous 60hz tv that I had I did not have this issue, and it was also a LCD TV. Any suggestions would be great.
Any noise reduction ON? You'll need to go thru the menus and see. Also check for screen refresh rate? Are you feeding direct from the source with an HDMI cable? Try that if you aren't already and feed the sound back to the HT receiver with an optical cable or use the dish boxes RCA outputs. I've never had that effect using various CRT sets, a Sony SXRD (RPTV) or my new 600hz plasma.
should noise reduction be off? Also I am using a monster hdmi cable and optical cable for sound running from my dish TV receiver to my yamaha receiver. I am also trying to download my latest software to see if that helps.
