2 6.5 3-way MTX door speakers
2 6x9 3-way MTX rear speakers
2 MTX passive crossover
2 Screamerz Dome Tweeters
1 200 watt MTX 4 Channel Amp

I got all the speakers for my birthday, got the crossovers off ebay. Got the tweeters out of a car that was traded and friend let me have them. Bought the amp from a friend about 7 months ago and never used it.

How should I set this up? I was thinking I should set it up like this(full detail), am I doing this right or not?

Hooking the input terminals to a channel each on the crossovers to the amp. Hook the 6.5's to the woofer terminals and hook the tweeters to the tweeter terminals on the crossovers. Hook a 6x9 to a channel each on the amp. Now for the detail I'm going to set the tweeters in my front air conditioning vents. I'm going to set the amp under the back seat so it's not visible. I'm also going to get an amp cover fan so it doesn't run hot. I already have subs in the back that are perfectly set up.

So am I setting this up right or if I'm not could you post the corrections that I should make... thanx everyone.

What are all the model numbers? It's hard to say whether things will be OK without knowing the exact power specs on each.

The power setup looks good. A little high on the front, but still within tolerances.

Assuming the crossovers and tweeters are both appropriate, you'll be OK. Unfortunately, EQ doesn't post the impedance on those tweets, and we don't know exactly which crossovers you have (MTX has both 200Hz and 2000Hz cutoff versions). If it's a 200Hz cutoff, you'll be giving up most of the sound from those 6.5s. You may want to try them directly connected before deciding to put the xovers and tweeters in.
