My (toddler)son has managed to dump several of his small toy blocks into the opening of the 100W subwoofer on my Samsung HT-DB600 (which I love). I've tried shaking them out, but apparently the tube is snaked inside, so this has proved unsuccessful. It's particularly irritating to hear them rattle around in there when Isildur cuts the One Ring off of Sauron's finger.
So what do you think - is it okay to pry the top of the SW off, or will this damage the unit, in which I case I should pay a professional to do it? Perhaps I could fish them out somehow?
if you can get to the speaker/driver you can remove the screws around the edges and take out the driver/speaker. that way you should be able to find whatever is inside the cabinet.
