how do i find the serial its not when i turn on the cd player its just a big line of letters and numbers "wf04xxgbb43j01299" and another problem the cd player only presses on and off the other buttens dont press
Here is a video showing how to remove a standard radio from the dashboard. A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.
An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips

Hi, just bought my first car (Ford Focus) with the 6000CD RDS Stereo. But when I turn it on, it just says "Locked" on the display, cant push any buttons, just on/off. I have an old 4 digit keycode in the user manual.
