I just bought an Audiobahn "8002T" Amp. I am wanting to use it as a sub amp, but do not know whether I should power 2 speakers or 1. I just want to get the most out of the Amp. Any help greatly appreciated.
Friend suggest using in Stereo with 2 "12" speakers, but from what I understand singel voice coil speakers are 4 Ohm, and that would just be 200 watts per speaker? Would this be getting the most out of my amp?
Amp: 1600 watts ACH Power 200 watts x 2 @4 Ohms RMS Power 400 watts x 2 @2 Ohms RMS power Says its bridgeable?
If it's bridgeable, it'll be 800 watts RMS at 4 ohm load. So, you could get two DVC 4 ohm subs wired in series, then parallel to the amp, or two SVC 2 ohm subs wired in series to the amp. Either could also be hooked up to each channel of the amp for full power at 2 ohms for stereo if you really wanted to.
