Newbie here,

I just bought an Audiobahn "8002T" Amp. I am wanting to use it as a sub amp, but do not know whether I should power 2 speakers or 1. I just want to get the most out of the Amp. Any help greatly appreciated.

Friend suggest using in Stereo with 2 "12" speakers, but from what I understand singel voice coil speakers are 4 Ohm, and that would just be 200 watts per speaker? Would this be getting the most out of my amp?

Amp:
1600 watts ACH Power
200 watts x 2 @4 Ohms RMS Power
400 watts x 2 @2 Ohms RMS power
Says its bridgeable?

If it's bridgeable, it'll be 800 watts RMS at 4 ohm load. So, you could get two DVC 4 ohm subs wired in series, then parallel to the amp, or two SVC 2 ohm subs wired in series to the amp. Either could also be hooked up to each channel of the amp for full power at 2 ohms for stereo if you really wanted to.

to make the Amp 800 watts RMS at 4-ohm load.

I can wire 2 DVC 4-Ohm subs in Series, parallel to the amp?

Or 2 SVC 2-Ohm subs wired in series to the amp?

Both of these would give me a 800 watts RMS at 4-Ohm?

Thank you for all your help Jonathan!

I think I will go with the 2 DVC 4-Ohm subs in series, Parallel to the AMP.

Should I be looking for speakers with a 400 RMS or 800 RMS?

I found a Audiobahn AW1251T 400 Watt RMS sub DVC. Would this work? i dont understand if this is 200 watts a coil or if it matters.

And can you recommend any brand or type?

Two Adire Shivas won't work with that amp, 2 DVC 4 ohm Kicker Comp-VR's would mate well with it.
