Is there a difference between Mono block amps and 1 channel amps ? If there is what is the difference, i was thinking about that lately and i just cant figure it out. thx
a lot of people call one-channel amps monoblocks. in reality monoblock implies that the amp has monolithic, discrete channels, where each channel has it's own isolated power supply and circuitry. You technically can have a 2 or 4 channel monoblock amplifier, but you rarely see this in the car audio world. This is more common in the high end home amplifier realm.
