Bronze Member Username: Jonez788Post Number: 47 Registered: Jun-04 | I need to wire 2 Kicker CVR 12"s to a a Kicker KX 800.2 Amp running 400 watts x 2 at 2 ohms. I thought before you told me I could run 2 4 ohm DVC subs to create a 2 ohm load. Am I mistaken? I just need to know so I can tell the seller that I need the 2 ohm ones before they are shipped out tomorrow. If those are what I need to get a 2 ohm load to my amp. |

Becuase that amp is stable at 4 ohms bridged and will put out 800 rms. |

You can wire the voice coils of the subs in parallel, then that will be a 2 ohm load, and you could put one sub on each channel of the amp. OR 2. Bridge the amp, and Wire the voice coils of the subs in parallel, then wire the subs in series to the amp. |

They know what they are talking about just ignore others that post because most of the time they don't even know what their talking about. If I was you I would wire them the way Glass said so you will have a 2ohm load on each channel. |
