Gold Member Username: DelsolePost Number: 1816 Registered: Feb-05 | I actually heard one of those small jl amps a while ago and i was very impressed. However I think a more comparable amp would be a jl slash series. From my personal experiences i would use a jl slash series amp all day long over a sundown. Unless space is an issue which i will assume its not since the sundown is a candidate. I have no complaints with sundown, I actually think there great amps that make great power but for this size of amp i will put my money on jl audio. A lot of people think way to highly of sundown and there are obviously a ton of people that wont give jl the time of day because they say you can get more for less. |

Although jl rates the xd at 14.4 they also show a rating at 12.5 volts which shows it loosing a small margin of power. Also if you were to look at the slash series its pure power down to 11 volts. Just throwing it out there i believe jl has some closeout prices on there site on the slash series amps that might be worth a look at. |
