Front Component Issue

Yes, I have a pair of Infinity Reference 6000cs front components which I run straight to my head unit(Pioneer 7900BT) and I seem to have an interesting issue. One side is absolutely amazing in clarity and sound while the right side seems more quiet, but the bass response is just equal. I'm thinking the tweeter somewhere in it was damaged because I recently glued the outer part of the cone with loctite super glue back onto the speaker because it was peeling off. Is there a solution to fix this?

Sorry I'm not sure if I'm descriptive enough but all in all, one side is not as loud as the other. Is there a way to get my front components fixed if it was damaged? I love the sound and quality of the speakers, I just don't want to get rid of them due to financial issues(I'm broke) and the fact that I really like em.

put your ear by the speaker itself, and see if it's working.
dettach both midrange drivers and listen to just the tweeters at low to moderate volume.
it could be that one driver is out of phase, or you may need to replace the tweeter.

I did exactly that. Umm it's not exactly a tweeter. I think it's built in.. I'm not really sure. Check it out:

I put it to my ear and one is louder than the other. Is there a place where I can send it to get it fixed? It didn't come with the other speakers or accessories. Only the front components(white speaker).

The Reference line are cheap. Just replace the entire set.. and this time get the crossovers and tweeters, too.

What do you recommend? I'm on a budget so I want top quality for my dollar.. Maybe I could find some on eBay? Also I have a subwoofer set up going on in my car. I only have front components and I took out my 6x9s so there's 2 holes open in the back. I drive a1999 4 door Integra. I read your tech papers on rear fill paper and didn't quite understand so well so I completely took them out. Haha. My subwoofer is filling my trunk since it's in a huge bandpass box. I'm running an Alumapro BP-12 with a Rockford Fosgate 201s. I think I'm underpowering it, but I plan on getting the 301s or 401s to match it with my 400watt rms sub.

You could go with the Infinity Reference series again. They're not bad speakers, jut not mind blowing, so to speak. They are quite affordable. I've used them in the past, myself. If you want them to sound good, and use your rears again, pick up an affordable 4 channel amplifier, and run the fronts with that in stereo, but run the rear speakers in series, with the back two channels of the amplifier bridged mono. That way the back 6x9s won't be in stereo, and you won't have to worry about losing your imaging. Fading mostly to the front speakers with your radio's fader will keep the sound stage up front, just letting the rears fill in a bit, but not be distracting.

if you had a speaker get damaged, it was most likely from either distortion if powered by the head unit, or by clipping at the amplifier if the amp's gain was turned up too far, or the car just didn't have enough current to feed the amplifier at high volumes (fairly rare on the last one for a mid or tweeter.. more common with subs)

Uhh.. I glued the rubber part of the speaker which was the outer part of it which I cannot describe so well.. So I hope you know what I'm talking about. I think my speaker was damaged from distortion due to my head unit because before it wasn't as loud as it used to be when I had a stock head unit on there when I was playing it at high volumes. That's when I first noticed speaker damage when I got a new head unit. I'm pretty sure before I changed head units the front components were in excellent condition.
