I just picked up a ford nav radio pn# 7L2T 18K931 AE out of a 07 ford explorer to install in my 2007 ford freestar. On a quick plug and plug the unit powers up, radio, cd and nav functions operate properly but the unit buttons do not illuminate with the headlamps and when dvd is selected on the screen it does not power up the factory overhead dvd, shows (entertianment system error) see dealer on the screen. Can I re-pin the harness to work? Is there a known "as-built" data that I can program into it using ford IDS, or is it not possible to make this work?
