hi
Do you have any idea why it is still not giving me the chance to try anotheR code? Is it possible to completely lock these radios?
Thanks, Alan

Please note that code entry is only possible when the display says " CODE ". If the stereo is codelocked, leave it switched on for up to two hours or more and a further attempt at code entry should be possible.
so leave turned on untouched until it resets itself.
don't touch any button cause if you do the wait time will start from the begining.
if you find the radio turns itself off after 20mins.
wait till you go on a long drive and then leave radio on still

Hello, I have left the radio for over 2 weeks now and it is being used everyday but it is still not giving me the option to try another code. I've tried disconnecting the battery but still no joy, any ideas on what I can do?
Thanks
Alan

It says 'radio locked' on the display, I tried leaving it untouched but on for about a week, driving about an hour a day, and still no joy.

I have known someone have to leave it on for 11 hours before.
If not then you will have to take it into a Decoding Service to rest

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

The important bit is UNDISTURBED because if it gets interrupted then the waiting time starts all over again.

This means that "an hour a day" will NOT work.

It may be better to remove it from the dashboard and connect it up to a spare battery on your workbench and leave switched on overnight.

This definitely works for most locked radios.
