Tried to replace it with nice Pioneer, but because of the monsoon system which has amplified speakers that need 6V signal, it worked only intermittently. Tried to rewire and fried the good Pioneer and now I am back to the stupid MONSOON that now needs a code that can be obtained from dealer or decoding service only!!!. Lessons learned: Stay away from Volkswagens with their monsoon systems. |
