Google's TV isn't for everyone, especially if you're in Canada 'Smart TV' comes to the U.S. this fall, but won't reach across the border until next year
Google TV is a big step forward at the higher end of market. However, there are three lower levels of software based products already available. About two months ago, I downloaded content orientated software which can be considered as enhanced You Tube with some real current TV, some real old TV, some videos and some real movies (mostly old) to set up a site but stopped short of actually setting up one.
There are also at least two Chinese sites who are also advertising for small entrepeuners to become partners, but I was warned that there are many copyright infringements.
The introduction of Google TV will only be an incentive to more well healed entrepreneurs that I am, and younger persons to take up the challenge.

And this one will give you 53 - that's right 53 different URLs where you can get content to create your own Internet TV station. http://www.ovguide.com/video-blog.html
The whole industry and the market is moving towards Internet delivery of content. I just had an offer from my ISP to upgrade my 4 mbps service to 12 or 16 mbps service - cost? about $140 per month and this will come down over the next tqwo years to about $45 per month.
QUESTION ANY BODY KNOWS HOW TO PURCHASE GOOGLE TV,WITH DISHNET CHANELS IN CANADA AND THE COST..

Nydas: Sir, That was an interesting research on hobbyist providing Internet TV. What you probably don't know, sir is that there are already several sites all over the world that are doing just that, and the Google announcement might put a stop to these young hobbyists. Just my 2 cents worth.
Google is supposed to to be buying up all the spare and unused fiber lines that are already laid and laying their own in Southern California, looks like they are trying to start their own huge isp where the 5g monthly limit won't affect their google tv biz.
