Goodmorning!
I've already asked the code for my A4's concert radio. but:
why they often can not generate the code for radio audi concert?
I've read many post in this beautiful forum, where raccomanded to go to audi service for this code...is my personal curiosity ;-)
My friend has "Vag com". Can i use vag com to generate/change radio code?
I want to change my Concert radio (cassette) with Concert radio (CD) in my Audi A6
Thanks!
Fabiano.

AUDI do not make radios...they are made by several of the major radio manufacturers.such as Alpine, Blaupunkt, Philips etc

The only ones that can be decoded on here are older Philips+Grundig makes.(pre year 2000 ) as this older database is commercially obtainable.........the rest are only available via the original factory database held by your Audi dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will wire in a laptop to read the actual code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM) using special software

Remember this is a security code for a prestige make of car , so this is why Audi use a more secure method than the common manufacturers like Ford .

therefore not only based on a simple algorithm derived from serial number...

No-one has been able to create an algorithm for the Audi ( or any of the VAG cars)

If your friend`s VAG Com software can read the EEPROM and find the code then yes it will work.( but I don`t think it can)

If it does work then please let us know.
