I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with steering wheel controls. I want to replace my old factory unit. I want to continue to have the capability to use my steering wheel controls. However I'm not really into having a tricked out stereo unit. I just want a CD player AM/FM Unit with a USB & AUX hook up so I can charge my phone and/or play music from it thru the radio. Bluetooth and/or SD card is optional but it would be a nice feature. I don't want or need some radio that cost $250.00 or more. More along the lines of $80 - $100. The installer says I need a unit with a "Remote Wire Input" so that I can continue to use my steering wheel controls & a "steering wheel control interface" to also allow steering wheel controls.
Can someone please suggest an inexpensive unit that has these feature?
Quite a few head units have that feature, but it's hard to tell off hand. Best bet is to just go to Best Buy and ask them, honestly. They'll be able to help you out.
