Silver Member Username: Spittin2rockPost Number: 123 Registered: Mar-04 | Hi Everyone... I would like all the help I can get on this subject. OK here's the senerio. I buying a head unit from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/7-Touch-Screen-2-Din-In-Dash-Car-DVD-Player-GPS-RDS-Map_W0QQ itemZ170387864966QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item27abe87d86 and it says it has compatibility with steering wheel controls. Now if you visit the page it shows a pic of the wire harness and what each wire does. I see 2 wires that says steering wheel control key 1 and key 2. I have a 2004 Yukon Denali that has steering wheel controls. My question is how could I figure out which wires on the factory wires is for the steering wheel controls and what would be my best avenue for connecting it to this head unit. I haven't received the unit yet but anyone who has experienced a situation like this I would love your input. |

I kind of wish you would have asked before buying it if so, because that unit is kind of a piece of junk. In any case, I'm not sure how that hooks up to the steering wheel controls with just two wires. Normally head units that are compatible with steering wheel controls have a separate adapter, and usually said adapters are specific to certain vehicles. |
