New member Username: ShifuPost Number: 2 Registered: Sep-10 | i pulled out the main cable plug from behind the cd player to fit on some additional speakers wires. At this stage i only checked the wire colours on the cable plug but did not fit the speaker wires.. i reinserted the cable plug back in to the cd player, (and checked to see its in properly) but now the cd player display remains blank.. i've checked the fuse and there is power going in to the unit, the cd ejects and loads and the lights come on but the cd player does not switch on or play and there is no request for Security CODE (which i have) the cd player/ radio unit is for the 2003 model and its the default CD player that comes with the car.. i also disconnected the battery and put it back in still no luck |

This goes in the codes forum: https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/632215.html Make sure you mention the serial number and model number of the stereo as well as what car it is. Just vaguely saying you have a head unit that doesn't ask for a code will not get you the answer you need. |
