Thursday, April 29, 2010 - 02:35 GMT I don't think one can rely on a site which promises a shipping date 12 days ahead.

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 05:19 GMT Can somebody explain what the Viewsat Weather Forecaster is exactly? I have a dead Viewsat Ultra. But then I noticed that some sites are reporting that Viewsat Ultra WF is 80% up. Which channels are working with this WF device for the Viewsat Ultra? Can I get some of the american channels and internationals back?

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 11:00 GMT The weather forecaster is a serial-to-ethernet adapter that lets you use an IKS method on the following viewsat models : Ultra, Ultra lite, HD MAX, HD9000 IKS stands for Internet Key Sharing, so in others words, with the necessary files, you can have back your tv. But only Dish is working with the Weather Forecaster for now.

Wednesday, June 02, 2010 - 00:10 GMT The Weather Forecaster (WF) is an adapter which plugs into the serial input on your Viewsat receiver and connects to the Ethernet (internet) port on your router or Modem. It uses Internet Key Service (IKS) only on some Viewsat receivers, which are:- Viewsat Ultra, Viewsat Ultra lite, Viewsat HD MAX, and Viewsat HD9000 It does NOT work with any other Viewsat Models and does NOT work with Viewsat clones or any other receiver. You have to keep your Boradband connection up all the time while you are watching TV.
