My external used to work fine its got alot of files on it too..i lent it out for a few weeks for my mother in-law to use and when i got it bak it doesnt work properly. It turns on fine but doesnt show it does but only sometimes and its only randomly when it feels like it and sumtimes when it does show the files are there for a while before it disappears and when it reappears it has nothing on it. please very frustrated!!
