Bronze Member Username: WillieespPost Number: 31 Registered: May-10 | So after extensive assistance under the Subwoofer section... Thank you guys! ... I've taken what I've learned from you guys and looked at the following comps for my front stage. It'll be in a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, I'll be running midbass drivers in the rear passenger seat area, and either an Fi Q 15" or AA Havoc 15" getting 1000wrms (unsure if it'll be ported or sealed yet.. If ported, it'll be tuned for 28hz). I listen to metal mostly, but I listen to hip hop/rap somtimes, reggae, alternative rock, and so on. The midrange - treble can be quite intricate for metal, so I need some bad@ss drivers. I'm feeling like I can't go wrong with any of the comps listed, but in case there's a few baddies in the mix, I want to get your opinions. I'll be most likely running a four channel that puts out somewhere between 75wrms to 100 wrms per channel. Here are the options... As always though, feel free to throw out your suggestions or whatever. CDT Audio Euroframe 6.5" 2 Way Comp. Speakers (140wrms) CDT Audio Eurofit 6.5" 2-way Comp. Speakers (90wrms) Morel Tempo6 6.5" 2 Way Component Speakers (120wrms) Alpine SPX-17PRO (Type-X 6.5" comps @ 100wrms) Alpine SPX-17REF (Type-X 6.5" comps @ 75wrms) Boston Acoustics ProSeries 60SE (125wrms) Thanks guys. |

I used to be a boston pro series reseller, and of the listed speakers, my first inclination would be Morel or Boston, in no particular order. just my two cents |

Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfPost Number: 13755 Registered: Dec-03 | yeah that's the problem with CDT. They have decent budget speakers for people who can't afford the good stuff. When you get to their flagship lines, you're spending enough to buy something better for the same cash. |
