doing a build for a guy with 2 kicker l5 15s here in a day or so.. would the easiest way to do the cut outs, be a jigsaw? this seems like its going to be quite annoying to draw/cut these things out.. anyone have any easier way?
a guy that just built my 12 box at freaking abcwarehouse made my cout out diameter freaking 10.7 inches so sub wont even fit.. what a dumbass. sigh so yea that kinda ticks me off, make sure u dont mess that up
actually thats probably not too far off.. most subs are kind of far from the real diameter.. like a cvx 15(using this because i just built a box for them) wasnt even 12 inches..
mark the corners. drill holes with a bit equal to the radius of the rounded L5 corners. use a jigsaw to connect the dots and cut out the straight portions between the corner holds. you end up with a square opening with smoothly rounded corners after a touch of sanding.
