i'm getting a pair of these and was wondering what you guys thought. first of all they will be hooked up to a alpine mrp-f300 amp and connected with 10 guage wire.

Alpine component speakers are very good. You'll like them, I'm sure. You probably don't need 10g speaker wire for components though. 18g would be sufficient for those.
so would it be worth it to get the alpine spr-17s component speakers instead? and 18gauge wire would work for that? because i was thinking about getting the rockford fosgate 12 gauge wire for them because it is 100% oxygen free copper wire
