ok. so i bought a 98 accord and the code is on. i thought it was easy like the old ones but the honda dealer by us wants me to schedule an apt to get my code. they so call say they need to remove the radio but i believe i have the s/n number needed already. can someone please help me get the code i need? here is the serial number: M97A165995. if you need any more info let me know.

The only Honda radio codes that are available to be calculated for free from anywhere on the Internet will be radios made by
BLAUPUNKT. These will have a Serial Number beginning with BP and another number beginning with 7 *** *** *** found on a label on the radio casing
UNFORTUNATELY ... NO OTHERS !
So you will be wasting your time posting code requests here for any other make.

If they cannot provide your code then you will have to try your HONDA Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
