Just wanted to know if this is a decent head unit with flip out screen. Here's a link to the Clarion site..

http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2010/multimedia/multimedia_source_unit/VZ4 00/us-en-product-pf_1259394334497.html

The power ratings say 15W RMS x 4.. Since I do not have an amp for my speakers yet, is this relatively low power? Also, the output voltage is 2V, does this mean I'll just have to adjust my amp gain for my subs to match?

Finally, if this unit is no good, does anyone have any suggestions for a similar head unit around the same price?

I'm sure it's a good headunit. Clarion makes good stuff, despite the 2V pre-outs etc. 15w RMS will be fine for your factory speakers. That's about what your OEM headunit puts out.

Link doesn't work, by the way, so I can't say anything more (especially regarding price and similar units)..

I think that's a good deal, then! I especially like the 24 bit D/A converter and touch panel control. The wattage output per channel is normal, actually (not low output, that is). Most headunits put out about that much power. And there are a good deal of RCA outputs, so you'll be fine with that.

If you get it on ebay, just ask the seller if it has bad pixels (in the case it is used), or if you can return it should you find a dead pixel (in the case the seller cannot verify if pixels aren't working, say, on a brand new unit). I personally would get the one on ebay if you get the pixel problem worked out.
