my 99 kia sportage cd player wont read mixed CDs anymore, it used to read them just fine, i got one to read but whenever i skip a song it take nearly 5 minutes to read it and start playing it. any suggestions on what to do and get it to read mixed CDs again? any help would be appreciated!
You might try a cleaning CD, probably just a dirty lens is all.
If not, it's likely to need new parts i.e. you're looking at needing a new head unit since car companies don't generally sell parts individually for head units.
