Getting these pictures up a little late but this was a build that I finished for Andrew R. It is a sealed box for 2 10" RE SE's. Here are the pictures. The last picture is my official logo when my website gets up and running
two ideas for future builds. If you inset the side panels maybe .5 to 1.00" on both sides, when you cover the box, the lip left will act as a handle to lift the box. If you use a router to cut those holes for the subs, you can route an inset there, too, so the subs sit flush when they're mounted. It makes them look a little more professional when everything is done.
oh i didnt know it inspired some1 to do the same which is no problem
if u port those SE's it will totally drown out ur front stage especially on those bass heavy songs but the sealed was used to match up with my front cdt stage
since my ride is a wagan the cabin gain definitely helps so i hope it works out well in ur case too
that was almost 2yrs ago & i still have my pair around even though i went with a 12" idmax around august last yr ....
Yes I know. I do both insets or rabetting. I know you have been gone a while but I have had many build logs of different kinds of builds where I do everything from flush mount to insets. Thanks for the look out though!
And Rovin, yeah, Andrew was wanting a box that looked similar to yours
For smaller enclosures I use Titebond II and clamps (like this one) Rovin. Anything bigger I use screws and Titebond. I'v done many many experiments on the strength of titebond II and clamps and It's quite amazing how strong it actually is.
