Silver Member Username: TulipePost Number: 169 Registered: Jun-09 | I DID ALL THE ABOVE nothing is working . i even restored the system to an old day . wht it says is you have already trendmicro program instaled in your system. i looked evety google search . many poeple say many stuff that did not work for me . doreen by the way when i tried to instal the trend pro .it says that i can get this version. a while ago i have been instaling trend free trial and remove it and reinstal it . it has been like year now but trend decided to to allow me . some suggest an other antis virus . my answer is noooooooo trend is great becuz does not slow the system it makes it faster and it's good product. my last hope is that im going to wipe and reinstal the windows which is great pain for me . |

Try systems restore... go back to the date b4 you first tried to remove the Trend Micro Internet Security...after its been restored... uninstall it again... then install the one I gave you. one other thing I can try to do for you is get the serial code for you .. I will need the year .. (I gave you 2010) is your 2009? I hope this helps |

Silver Member Username: TulipePost Number: 171 Registered: Jun-09 | THE PROBLEM here is not downloading trend. the problem is not accepted by the system . againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn no matter what i do it says i still have trend in my system. i did try to instal AVG and it detect that trend in my system and ask to remove it first by clicking one icon that takes me to romove/add program but there there is no trend there to remove . it's like a ghost. some registry cleaner did not do anything . |

When you install some of the more recent software, even the sophisticated un-installers cannot get rid of the remanants that the program deliberately leaves in your computer - they are like viruses which only affect a little part of your body. when you attempt to install a trial version again they prevent you. Use Revo Uninstaller or similar in the highest cleanout mode and you might succeed in removing these vestiges of programs which behave like viruses. Normal virus cleaners will not clean it out, Then use the registry cleaner to remove anything that the Uninstaller missed - I suggested AWC 2.9 and there are other Registry cleaners. The Registry cleaners I have come accross are in two versions free and paid. That is why I use AWC2.9 a product which was taken over and replaced with a paid version 3. It is only after this cleanup that you will able to proceed. |
