Bronze Member Username: Car5_14Post Number: 72 Registered: May-04 | umm...i will hav a kicker 1200.1 and 2 legacy subs, well i have a legacy amp but i hate it so im switchin over then after that ill be switchen the subs to prolly audiobahn which i know isnt good but i dont know any subs that r cheap and can handle that much power? |
Bronze Member Username: Car5_14Post Number: 73 Registered: May-04 | But can someone tell me is it better to have higher or lower Hz? |

Silver Member Username: GrmncrsnbrVA Post Number: 140 Registered: Jun-04 | as a frequency response? well the human ear can only hear down to like 20hz so below that is kind of pointless other than for vibration. I wouldnt spend that kind of money on overrated audiobahns cuz they are just going to crap out on you then youll have to buy something else. |

Post Number: 104 Registered: Mar-04 | Guy, you can pick up a descent set of Cerwin vega's on ebay for the price you'll pay for those new Audiobahn subs. Or, if you don't like the Cerwins, I know that you can also get a set of Memphis HPO subs, which will work nicely with that amp and can be run at 4 ohms. They'll have descent SQ, and they're only 315 SHIPPED on ebay. That's for two Memphis HPO's. They'll beat most of your audiobahns, and outlast them by far also. |

Bronze Member Username: Car5_14Post Number: 76 Registered: May-04 | can anyone find me 2 12's that r 1200 watts rms. that r a decent companyy for a decent price. |
Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 3807 Registered: Dec-03 | why do you need subs that can accept 1200 watts each? those subs will be either very inefficient, or they won't nead naerly that power to reach full output. the Adire Brahma, RE X.X.X. or Orion H2 are some that come to mind. |
Bronze Member Username: Car5_14Post Number: 77 Registered: May-04 | well for the kicker kx1200.1 but now that i think of it i need to 2 subs that r 600 watts rms |
Bronze Member Username: TonelocPost Number: 23 Registered: Jun-04 | you could probably use some kicker comps or comp vr's. Their not that expensive if your willing to spend about 300 bucks. |
Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 3810 Registered: Dec-03 | the Kicker 02KX1200.1 is 1200 watts @ 1 ohm. that'd take two 600 watt 2 Ohm subs, or four 300 watt 4 ohm subs. Look at: four Kicker CompVR 12" subs or two Adire Brahma 12" subs or four Alpine type R 12" subs or two RE X.X.X. 12" subs or two Eclipse Titanium 12" subs there ya go |
