The P-5 is it's successor, also referred to the D1 because it's the first card that DAVE (DTV) "programmed." DAVE did this supposedly because the P-4 had some holes in it, which may or may not be true, but in either case both cards are essentially the same. If you legally buy DTV, since May 2003, you will receive a P-5, but P-4 will work in any DTV receiver. DTV just won't activate it. A good hack will, and they're going to be easier to hack, and yes, they will be around for a long time. The HU card (P-3) was around for two years AFTER the P-4 card came out, and far more people are using P-4's than P-5's. The last "insider" that I'm aware of was Igor. I don't have his prison address. Your vague description of the other one sounds like a P-5. The P-4 has two or three shades of blue forming a sort-of vortex, with a darker blue forming five arrow-heads pointing upward. the ultimate satellite freak Unregistered guest | i've noticed over the past few months that quite a few sites that claimed to have working hacks are now shut down examp dsstwister.com p4now.com dssfilexchange.com dssnation.com.......... even over a year ago a web site i knew kingdish.com claimed to have a hack for the p4 and soon after that they got shut down by dave. is it that all or some of these sites had working hacks and dave shut them down? are we not finding this hack publically or privately because as soon as dave hears that a certain someone has hacked the new cards he makes sure that they are shut down? any one know what the story is? |

Done deal. leslie, I don't fully understand the offer from satthouse, either, and I've been programming for quite a while. I don't think the problem is yours or mine. I think satthouse didn't do a very good job of explaining their offer: Id have to go back to the site and review the offer in its entirety, but I can tell you this at this point: You have 3 questions: (1) Yes, IF you already have the five P-5 cards AND the glitcher ($200); I THINK what you're getting for the $150 are five pre-activated bootstraps. That's the only thing that makes any sense to me. (2) No. They don't want you to send your cards to them for activation, so the only way you could get 5 activated cards from them would be to buy the five cards ($95 ea) from them, plus the "support" @$150 (bootstraps?), and you'd still be w/o the glitcher/loader to program future 3M's. (3) No and No. One of us would have in our possesion 5 P-5's, from whomever, the elusive "support," and one glitcher/loader. Again, I presume the "3M" must be pre-loaded into a bootstrap with the card's CAM, or the bootstrap only is pre-loaded with the CAM and the 3M bin comes with the glitcher/loader (programmed with ExtremeHU or WinEx? If so, how do they limit the number of cards that can be programmed?); in any case, the person with the package would have 5 activated P-5's plus a glitcher/loader. Distribute the four other P5's to whomever, keep the glitcher/loader, and whomever doesn't get an activated P5 will at least know whether or not it works. I know that all sounds confusing, but trying to explain what you don't fully understand -- their offer! -- can be more confusing than the offer you don't understand. ken |

The best receiver owon the market is a 6100,6200,7100,and 7200. Also I think the 501 has the same technology in it. These boxes are special because they have the new microsoft tvo technology in them. They have a contract with echostar or to you who don't know Dishnetwork that they can not send out their ecm signal to kill cards or scripts to those particular models. If they do they will be sued. And Bill Gates isn't one to mess with. I have been told unless Dish goes out of business you will have tv for now own with these models. The guy I deal with has a 7200 and it has been up for a little over 2 years. The 3800 3900 2700 2800 and models close to that if like mine and my cousins they don't have a jtag port hole, so you manually have to solder one in. Very tidious operation. I don't know for sure which models actually have them built in. Sorry. |

From various hackers and contacts, their is a hack but no script out to unloop the card when hit. So why spend all that money to program your card. When it gets hit, the card is ruined and your out all that money you spent to get a card. 10 bucks a piece for the script awesome but why ruin your cards. The script has been out for 2 months now but no way to fix it after she gets popped. So personally speaking, I wouldn't waste a good card for a few weeks of tv. Not intended to piss of anyone. They run anywhere from 250 to 325 with remote and card no dish. I would suggest going to the Flea Market or trade lots to find some. Dishnetwork is all over ebay though. That doesn't mean that the ones I posted are the only ones that work but rather that if you find one buy it. They are gold. Don't forget about the other one also 501 series. 2700,2800,3700,3800,3900, and 301's. The guy that is doing mine charges 30 bucks after first fix and 50 for the first fix because in the other models I just mentioned he has to solder in a jtag to extract the jkeys. I will soon have all my equipment and will start doing them myself but can't complain about 30 bucks that will last 6 months. But a redneck gots to make some money. Also look in the newspaper, or go to your local digital cable operative and tell them you would like to purchase their equipment that they traded digital cable for. I should be getting a truck load of them from a cable friend shortly. |

But if I was going to do anything it would be an activation from 3moffshore. I have read many posts where people have used it and it worked. Haven't read one single post own a 3m that worked? Follow what I am saying? Plus they have a ppv wiper. Downfall is that it will only work for you and in one receiver only. You'll have tv but can't make no ching ching. But with the 3m you get 5 times to use it. Personally if I was going to try it I would get all 5 myself do my box, and sell the other 4, for 125 dollars but no guarantee. Because these cards will not be cloned. That is for everyone, get yours for free plus make a 150 bucks for your efforts. If it works, well yours is fixed and the next time 625 bucks in your pocket. Minus what it costed for the scripts. |

I was asked to come and let you all know a little about us. first of all i'll start off by telling you i am mr3m and co-owner of www.satthouse.com we DO have a working P5 3m and it has been up for 26 days today and this is after a couple of test runs. the last test run was 35 days and we feel the only reason it went down then was because we removed the card from the ird to try something else and when we did it looped the card, trial and error i guess but we discovered that we cannot take the card out unless it requires writing the 3m to it. yes the card looped when we did this and yes we have an unlooper to take care of this. it took us about 5 minutes and we had it right back up. yes the cards can be new or previously subbed. 9 out of 10 cards will work flawlessly. there is always that 1% that will not work but nothing in this world is 100% every time. i wish it were. anyway i spoke with dennis and he told me that there was a lot of people here that may want to sub to our support and i told him that we would give a group discount. i'll let dennis go ahead and inform you all about the details of our conversation. i really have to go for now but i hope to see you all there and watching tv tonight. again i am mr3m and i'll be online through our live support till aprox midnight CST |

Unregistered guest | Hello Everyone!!I have been reading here for about a month and a half, I feel that I know most of you very well, And I applaud all of you for not giving up and always staying positive. I am from Canada, And I know that it will be along shortly(the hack)I do believe that SatHouse will deliver the goods as promised and yes you need a iso loader(try your own if not buy one$50.00 with cords and cables) You can count on this for sure P-4 and P-5 will be hacked approx. at the same time. I will be part of discussions from now on!! Remember dont jump ship, And HONESTLY dishnetwork will be more of a problem than a solution!! Thanks!! |

Are U all off your rocker?..would U really buy anything from someplace that doesn't even know that the P5 = D1 card...or be stupid enough to advertise that as an "error" on their part..If they don't know this fact,or can't even advertise correctly,then how the heck can anyone of U really even consider that they honestly can hack a P5 card..they don't even know they're the same card or advertise right,nevermind accomplish what many have been working on for 2 years ..an obvious Scam that the blind can see!...save your money all...don't buy any P4 or P5/D1 support from anyone right now cause U're just throwing your money away!....and if U need hardware such as iso programmers,dssrev cards etc,go to a reputable site like |

It should have read P4 cards only. We are sorry for this mistake. We have an outside company handle our website and hosting. Our 3m DOES work on all P5 cards; virg*n or subbed. (P5 is same as D1 cards) |

I need a little help to make sure I download and install them right I'll ask for some help from Satthouse and see how they handle that.I need some time as I can't do anyting till around 2 CST. I have an old H card loader someone said it's an ISO so I will let everyone know later. Don't run off and buy got yet. This still might not work out. cautious guy Unregistered guest | i've tried to contact satthouse by email and nothing yet, i did talk to him last nigh aswell, and was ready to take my 350. but i didnt bite. then at 10:30 on there was no-one at his inperson chat, so i got up this morning thinking that he's east coast time and still no-one. i've emailed a few times but no reply. Now if this was for real, this guy would be online 24hrs a day making half a million a day signing people up!!!! like comon.. also on that site the contact page has expired?? doesnt look good, and so i wait. looks to me like these scamers are getting more sophisticated. let us know if anyone did get some working files. thanx |
