Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 23:28 GMT Figure this should be enough power to get my pair DD3515's and the 6th order bandpass up and running. DD M2a. Rated 2300wrms @ 1ohm Guts. BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE!!! You didn't really think I was only gonna run 2300w on a pair of 3515's...did ya? .75ohm per amp should do the trick. Now I just need to replace my DD C4a w/ a DD S4 on my DDA Components to complete the set.

Friday, February 12, 2010 - 15:49 GMT Canaan, i've gotta question. I just don't understand your amps + subs combo. Is WRMS different then RMS? because I thought the 3515's were rated at 1200 RMS from factory so even if they can handle 1500 RMS easily thats 3000 RMS and your amps will be pushing out 4600 watts? what are you going to do with all that extra power? I mean ino your way more experienced than me but I just don't see needing all that extra power....must be more than im realizing or something. Oh yea, did you set all of my settings on my amp during the show? I figured you did but I know it was you like you went down and came up in like 30 seconds lol.

Friday, February 12, 2010 - 17:28 GMT Its called overhead. Yes the 3500's are rated 1200wrms, but I have run up to 2700w on them daily w/ no problems. (DD Z2hv on 3 of them) Hell, NickV is running DD2510's (rated 750w) on ~1800w w/ no problems. You just have to know when enough is enough and back off on it daily...but for shows you have plenty to burp. I wouldn't recommend the everyday-joe run that kind of power on them though.
