Setup:
2 - pioneer 6x9
2 - pioneer 61/2
all 4 hooked to a small amp
pioneer head unit
2 kicker cvr 12s with powerbass amp 1200

so i took my 2 front 6.5s out so i could make a door panel for my 96 caprice and when i went to put them back it everything worked fine at low volumes but once i turned it up to 10 the left speaker would crack every few seconds so i unplugged it to make sure none of the other speakers were making this noise and they were fine. then i plugged it back in.. tried again.. and still the would crack and pop at high volumes. then all of a sudden all the speakers made a popping noise and now as soon as i turn the system on all the speakers pop and make constant humming noise... help

Did you happen to get any metal shavings on or around the door panels that may have worked their way into the speakers? I saw where you said you made some door panels, so that could be one assumption. Also make sure no wires are touching anywhere. If one wire is touching metal and grounding itself out that will lead to crackling. Especially at higher volumes when more power is going through them. So I would say just trace down all the wiring and make sure everything is good. If that isnt it, check the RCA cables.

i unplugged the driver side speaker to see if it was grounding out.. but when i turned on the stereo i still get a pop and static... then i tried passenger side and still no luck...

is it possible that i blew out the actual stereo??
cause at first just one speaker was making the cracking noise.. then it stopped for a second so i kept turning up the stereo to see how high it would go until it would crackle again and then all of the speakers started doing it..
