Have Onkyo 605, Bose 701 front, 601 on side, and an Acoustimass system for rears, and a12 inch sub. Please don't blast my vintage bose. Anyways have a Bose VCS 10 center that needs to be substituted, this you can blast all day. I was never impressed by this waste of money. Need something that would blend in nicely, and be somewhat low profile. Room is 20 x 16 feet and I watch movies, play games and listen to music loud! Thanks everyone
Nice size room but horrible for acoustics. Since you are going to up grade the center why don't you let it be the beginning of a total upgrade. Pick a center channel based on a pair of front Left and Right speakers that you could up grade to later and get away from that Bose crap. You say you have a 12" sub, thats not Bose, see you are already on your way. Paradigm, Energy, PSB , Definitive Technology, are a few speaker manufactures you can check out on line to find a dealer near you.
