Upgrading my sounds on my new ride

hello guys. im a newbie on mobile sound and i need your suggestions. ill be getting a new car as a christmas present from mom my (but i dont know what brand and model she would be giving me) and planned to give it a sound upgrade firstly. i want a sql set up. i dont know what sub to use but a friend of mine suggested the re xxx6.5 component set for my speakers but suggestions are open though coz i want a good sql system for my car and my budget is open. TIA

it will be difficult to answer that since nobody cud rec something when they dont know what vehicle the equipment will be going into

u have to look at available speaker depth in the doors & if ur going to put a sub how much space is there etc

get ur ride 1st then ppl can help u better

also u must set a fixed but slightly adjustable realistic budget since speakers & amps can cost $50-$5000...

i guess it would be a toyota prado.. maybe i could spend up to $6000 for my budget..

i would like to go for 4 pairs of speakers, 2 pairs on my front door and 2 at the back.. and 2 subs at my trunk..

what alternator would u recommend me to use? a link of it would be nice and how much would it cost? thanks

im planning to go with 2 750-1000 watt rms subs and for my speakers, 4 pairs ranging to 100-150 watt rms. TIA
